Wideband AFR gauge not agreeing with tunerstudio....
MSpnp, and innovative LC-1 wideband with gauge.
Both LC1 outputs are set to 0-5v 0.5-1.5 as they should be, as is tunerstudio project proporties.
TunerStudio is about 1/2 a point leaner than the guage, but it is also way more erratic in its reading than the guage is.
Confused now. can't really do any tuning until I sort it, but not sure how long its been like this, I know it used to match, but not sure how long ago that was.
Someone has said this can be solved by altering the earth referencing on the LM programmer....
Wiring wise, At present I have a ground for my ECU, and another ground wire grounding all of the wideband grounds, all to the same point (stock ecu ground point with another bolt on it next to the TB).
Some say the heater ground needs to be done elsewhere??

There is one big ring connector for all lc1 grounds yes. It looks like I need to take the lc1 heater ground off this and ground it elsewhere.
What values are in your logworks configuration boxes then?
Both outputs on logworks are set up the same, so I don't understand how they can output differently.

In for answer, also having this problem, aswell as the error code 8 ( going to revert to older firmware soon)
But when the gauge does work, mines a full afr richer on the gauge, everything is grounded together except for the error code led, which is just grounded to chassis. I'm probably going to just end up redoing all of the grounds, anyone know what locations have proved the best results?

My memory is foggy, its been a while, but on the MS there is a setting for which output its going to receive from the LC1, theres AFR, and theres also 0-5v = 0.5 to 1.5 lambda. I set the output on the LC1 to lambda, and the MS to the same, and my numbers were a lot closer.
Do a search for this, you're not the only one who has had this issue.

They are now within 0.2ish of each other, so much much better.
I hooked one LC1 ground to one side of the cam cover, the LC1 heater ground to annother bolt on the cam cover, and left the ECU ground where the standard ecu ground is on a separate bolt but cleaned all that up.
I'll re-calibrate it now and hopefully it will be ok.
So, do I now assume tunerstudio is the incorrect reading and account for this in my AFR targets...?
Or does anyone have any other ideas?

Tunerstudio is leaner than ms by about 0.2 so it should be on the safe side of wrong anyway.
I have grounded them all to separate points and that made it closer.
I have searched and can't find anything, anyone have any links...

Hi mate,
I'm having the same problem. For instance at idle my gauge is reading ~12.4 and tunerstudio is displaying ~13 to 13.5. The big, important difference here is that I'm running an MTX-L gauge, and not an LC1.
The MTX-L uses the same voltage settings as the LC1, but doesn't have a separate heater ground. There is only one ground cable, so that knocks the theory of separate grounds out.
Also I noticed that in Megatune the AFR readings appear to tally up with the gauge.
The plot thickens.
To clarify, I don't think it has anything to do with your grounds. Does the AFR in Megatune agree with the LC-1 Gauge?
My setup:
* Innovate MTX-L ground cable crimped and soldered with a ring terminal on it, stacked on top of the ECU ground and a nut on top.
* Tunerstudio version: MS v1.002
* Megatune version: 2.25 p1 built on Mar 19 2006
* MSPNP with Highres 10g code
* Tunerstudio project properties EGO O2 Sensor set to Innovate LC-1 Default, 0-5v = 0.5-1.5 lambda
* Megatune properties set the same (LC-1 defaults)
Symptoms are:
* Megatune AFR gauge seems fairly accurate from what I can see (maybe ~0.2 off the MTX-L gauge).
* Tunerstudio seems to be at least ~0.6 to a full 1 point off the MTX-L gauge.
