Warnign on cooling mist selonoids
http://www.coolingmist.com/detailmai...iaturesolenoid
I recently bought this selonoid from CM becouse i thought my original one was bad. And upon ariving i found it to be way tiny, and upon further testing i found it impeeded my flow alot. On the other hand i did like the full on stainless construction and rugedness of the unit. But just so you guys don't make the same mistake i did plz do not buy the mini selonoid it will cause you problems unless you are running superhigh pressure low volume stuff.
FWIW my original and now seemingly fine selonoid is identical to http://www.coolingmist.com/detailmain.aspx?pid=11
this one wich i purchased for 3$ less on mcmastercarr i believe. So plz buy the larger one you will be happier.

Magna, what the **** is a selonoid?
Serious question, do you think the quantity of water you're trying to push is your issue? Do you think there would be a flow restriction for someone trying to punch mabye 150-200cc/min, vs. the 450+cc/min you're pushing?

well i had it on my second feed line and i noticed it took the flow of the open line down to damn near half, i would imagine that it would also half the flow into the nozzle as well. I would have gladly used it if not for that reason. My second stage is only 200 cc/min anyway first being 250-270 depending on my line pressure.
