Finally ordered my Coolingmist WMI Kit!
I ordered the kit this evening for my mazdaspeed. Here lately as the weather has warmed up significantly the car will detonate pretty badly after sitting at a light for more than a few seconds even under light load and low boost.
Had some retard "dyno tuner" on a MS6 board tell me that I'm wasting my time with water or meth injection on a car with less than 300 wheel horsepower so I'm planning on dyno testing the car end of the month to compare results. A local tune shop which I'd never let actually tune my car is having a special on AWD pulls soon during their dyno day for $45 and gives three pulls. Figure make 2 pulls without injection to make sure that topmount POS gets NICE and hot then make the third with a 50/50 Water/Meth and see what happens.
Anyway I'm excited and wanted to share. Its taken me a long time to find someone that'd sell me a factory coldpipe piece because I don't want to modify my factory unit for warranty purposes. I'll be sure to post my dyno sheet and pictures soon.

I can't believe hes a respected dyno tuner in the Mazdaspeed community and hes telling me that. Time and time again I've seen miatas, audis/VWs, hondas, GM supercharged and turbocharged vehicles with W/MI making HUGE improvements with stock or aftermarket stuff!
Aside from a 3" catback this will be the first actual performance mod. Kinda decided Im gonna keep the car and play with it a bit. Recently a few more companies have started offering less expensive speed parts so we'll see what we can do.

Dude 1 pull without WI should suffice and to realy show what WI can do advancing the timming etc will do a bunch for u. Ok no go out there and prove that MF who doesn't understand WI wrong.
Ohh on a lighter note he might have been refering to a MS6 wich runs a good 250 or so hp stock if this is the case he just doesnt know how to use and optimize WI, as he probably straps it on a sstock system with a MBC and calls it a day.
