Also will we need to update our fuel pumps? I keep hearing how large this thing is, and was wondering if there will be any negative effects b/c of this.

I'm thinking a FP gauge, a temporary one under the window will be in order when I install this new rail. If the stock pump isn't savvy we're going with the 255 HP

Stock pumps will be just fine up to a certain amount of horsepower. Once you get above 250hp I would recommend a Walbro anyways!

Without a doubt, everything ETD makes so far is top notch, I have their rods, very nice!!! There is no question about quality!!! mmkay?
This is not their first rodeo, they have made rails for other cars, so lets not think that this rail is purely trial and error, they have done this before, just not for the miata.
Thanks Zabac!

It's not like this is a 3" ID rail guys. Your fuel pumps should be fine if they are in good shape to begin with.

Injector Rehab is selling the Walbro 190, which is the one I bought, for $79 shipped...I thought that was a pretty good price and it was FedExed to me in about 2 or 3 days. Installed it this weekend, was a snap. Here is the thread for the pump:

Yeah i know, once I saw it I realized that, I don't care how hard I try, I doubt I'll get a much better price, not better enough to justify any additional input over just ordering it from them.
I'll buy one from them too.

Guess I ougtta read up on the pumps - is 190 enough? 550cc/min injectors x4 injectors = 2200 lpm. Sure, you're likely not to hit that. heh... But still, why buy a pump you can outflow for a lousy $10 difference? Keep the stocker or get one that's rated higher than you can use.
