Dimitris,

I know it's been talked about before, but how about an option to disable the IAT sensor under a certain RPM so that heat soak is a non option in traffic or when starting the car and it idles like crap(super lean) until the WBO2 sensor heats up to start adding fuel.

I know it's taken care of sort of with EGO control, but just another thought. Seems like something that a lot of people would appreciate for different reasons.

I'm almost positive he's completely resolved that issue way back when. I talked to him numerous times about it.

If you play with the values in the MAT correction table, you can get very good results.

Digging this up a bit, but for us MSMs out there, can you look into cruise control support of some type? I miss it dearly.

Some sort of turbo timer that would run fans at full until coolant/oil temp stopped dropping. I realize it may not be able to keep the car on w/o rewiring so maybe a full fans until shutoff button so when I'm a mile away from home I can begin cooldown?

And a tad obscure, can you see what's possible to be able to cycle the ABS pump for easier ABS bleeding?

I remember the adaptronic having a turbo timer feature, with only a simple relay needed to be added to the ignition circuit for it to work. I think it would definitely be a cool feature in the MS

Cruise control requires either that the ECU commands the throttle (not possible without a drive-by-wire electric throttle body, ie NC) or or cruise control module.

The fan system you describe is possible, if I get a few more people wanting this I may implement it.

ABS control is not possible, as the ABS module does not in any way talk to the MS. I also don't want to screw around with ABS alltogether.

Why? Just do not drive hard for the last minute before you shut off the car?

A minute can mean the difference between being late to work and not.

I seriously hope this gets implemented.

It's just a little peice of mind. Like 18psi said, you don't always have the opportunity for that. I would just like to not have to worry about it and always be able to let the car idle for a little bit before shutting it off.

Dont know if that has been added or not but knock sensor sensitivity per rpm. Say you want it more sensitive at 4k rpm than at 5k rpm then sensitive again at 6k etc.

My bad, I understood something else.

It is already done. Look at the pic below:

How about an "emissions test" mode switch built into the system?

One could simply turn it on for a no hassle test, and turn it off once they are done, without messing with anything.

Are the features talked about in this thread going to be incorporated into the MS from the "New Enhanced Megasquirt - Teaser Pics" thread, or are they two totally different ECU's being diccussed?

The features discussed just above are going to be in both ECUs.
