Here's my new TTE car. 195whp, 2900lbs, 245 BFG Rival-S, etc. etc.
I'll get some better pictures later...
Apparently my garage really needs some lighting improvements. Every picture I try to take with just the garage lighting comes out terrible.

word of advice
watch this video a few times. danny has Road ATL down.
Note the line he takes and his braking zones for turn 1,5 &7. don't go nuts-o like Danny does but you can see what a fast line looks like. on Saturday night watch the video again. you'll learn a ton.

Side note: I also have a GIANT used turbo for Lars if you are as close as Orlando. I know you collect toys. It came off a 19 liter engine. I also have some other Miata parts to give you if you want them. PM me or text me for details.

I had a blast. Road Atlanta is a incredibly fun track, and also very terrifying. The high speeds, concrete walls, and blind hills add up quick. Found my cars top speed of 132.2 (GPS indicated) on the back straight bouncing off the rev limiter.
Thanks for posting up about the event, Johnny. I never would have made the trip down otherwise. It was well worth the drive. It was nice meeting you as well. Your car is awesome. Might want to do something about the exhaust though, it sounds way too tame and docile on track compared to some of those vettes.
My best with aero was 1:44.76, and 1:46.69 without.
For some reason I felt the urge to check mirrors between 2 and 3, went wide on 3 and into the dirt. Splitter was deposited on the middle of the track just past 4. Fortunately, I don't think anyone ran it over. No real damage to the car from the splitter removal, intercooler picked up a couple small dents and the rear under tray mounting tabs are bent back, and that's it. Whatever ripped the splitter off (possibly curbing) also bent the rear subframe brace a bit so all things considered, I'm happy with how well it held up.

yea the exhaust is getting fixed. i can't decide if i should run mufflers or not.
i drove the ls3 exomotive car that had headers only, and it sounded biblical. but i do like running amp and they have a 92db limit.
your going to kill me but if you wanted to fix the splitter you could of brought it over. i live 7 min from the track, i got welders, band saws, and other fab tools.
track tuned wrote a little something about the event. http://www.tracktuned.com/feed/2015/...antai-love-you

Mufflers for AMP and straight pipes for RA?
7 minutes from RA. That right there is almost worth a murder charge. I ripped it off 2nd session Sunday, it really wasn't worth fixing at that point. Especially considering how slow I work. Mighty kind of you to offer.
Running without aero was a really good lesson in how much faster I need to be from T4-T7. I don't mind taking something like T1 slower than I should because the risk is much higher there, but there's no excuses as to how slow I was taking 6 or the esses. I'll have to buy a case of those Man Pills mentioned in the article before my next trip down.
