Ok yeah I know.. bousch ...dsm bov...

My real question is.. whats with the influx of "Greddy STYLE" bovs on ebay? what ever happened to doing a search for greddy type-S and buying real bovs? Did greddy like lose their patents or something?

Anyway, I think my turbo is going to take a bit longer then I believed, since I'm going to build my own intercooler setup .. stripes is taking too long haha.

I happened to use a Mitsubishi Eclipse BOV. I recirculated it, because of various reasons, and because I thought it was the best thing to do. I am very happy with the way the car sounds and drives.

I think I would have been just as happy with a $35 Bosch. The thing to keep in mind is that the BOV is actually a very simple mechanical device, and it is relatively cheap to make. I can't see paying over $100 for the thing, it's just not worth it.

In the end it's how your car drives and performs thats whats important. I think those polished aluminum, pink and purple, vented to the atmosphere BOV's look kind of poser anyway. Buy a cheap Bosch and don't worry about it.

My polished alumnium purple BOV rocks your plastic POS.

Brad those guys on eBay make a killing selling crap like that. People who refer to stuff as an "eBay coilovers" and think eBay is like Sears don't know the difference between **** and poo.

Haha I know, but back in the day when I was in the market for my greddy type S there was never this type of extreme knockoff-age. I'll be sticking w/ the bosch or a 1g DSM.

It kills me that some people use the 2g DSM (plastic) ones because they were pretty much guaranteed to leak at 12 psi. At the same time they sure were quiet.
