hose shielding
has anyone ever thought of using something like http://www.heatshieldproducts.com/th...ose_sleeve.php to wrap their coolant hose in the back of the engine? I was wanting to wrap it, but it just isn't very attractive.

I used spark wires ones before....if they were larger I.D. it would have worked better. I had to slit them down the sides and tie them back up....they held up great though, looked clean, got saturated in oil when my dipstick blew off once and i had to pull them and replace.

took me a while, but I figured out your mistake...
thanks for that link though, that looks like the best/cheapest stuff I've found so far.

actually https://www.wirecare.com/products.as...FG&prodline=ES if you want to get specific.
I see it only goes up to 1", is that the size you used, and did it fit well? I'm all over this like a fat kid on a cupcake if it worked well for you.
