Greddy kit, Installed FMIC now really dead in the middle RPM
My greddy kit ran fine before the FMIC was installed. I havent installed any bandaids yet as they havent arrived. 1.8 injectors, stock fuel pump, vortech FPR, 6psi. Only change is the front mount intercooler.
The car is experiencing a bad stumble like it's really leaning out (A/F gauge isnt installed yet either)
The FMIC doesnt leak. All couplers are tight. The BOV doesnt work at all so that's not the issue and I'll bring that up later in a different thread once I get this worked out.
When I floor the car in 1st and 2nd gear the engine builds power just fine to redline. When I'm in 3rd or higher, I can floor the car until around 3500 rpm and have to lift the throttle until around 4750ish and then I can floor it again to redline and it will pull just fine.
The other day when I driving back from Tucson, about 85*, and cruising at 75mph in 5th gear, when I tried to accelerate, it would stumble and if I tried to press the car slightly the temp gauge would just break over the center. It has never done that before... even at 100* and pushing the car.
I'm suspecting its the "lean tip-in" problem, but I didnt have the problem before.
I know I have to get the A/F gauge installed but it wasnt an issue before.

Ben,
Wouldnt a rich mixture indicate a "cooler" running engine? If I push during a stumble, the gauge will climb just a bit.
I dont want to invest in more disks, I'm going to get the BEGI FPR.
