Default Greddy turbo part number please

Can anyone give me the part number of the turbo greddy use. I know its a TDO4-15G but I want to order one from a supplier so I need the part number engraved on the turbo itself.

And thats what I've heard too, they wont part with just the turbo?

I wanted to buy the turbo from a Mitsubishi turbo supplier in the UK so that I could buy a decent manifold and downpipe instead of the ones that come with the Greddy kit. I want the begi fpr (as advised) rather than the one supplied with Greddy kit so I don't see the sense in buying it to replace most of it.

eBay what you don't want. I made $200 doing that on mine. The cast Greddy manifold is actually pretty strong. It doesn't crack anymore like the first version. The DP needs to go, but you can buy the Vortech discs that can make it 10:1, or 8:1 (what I used before I got the Begi one) instead of 12:1. Biggest thing besides the DP is the FMIC. You need one. After that you can run base or slightly advanced timing and turn up the boost. It's actually a good kit, especially for the price.

do you still have to make relief cuts on the manifold? where can you get the discs? did you say you are a Greddy dealer?

I would make the relief cuts just incase.

15 minutes of your time with a hack saw is alot cheaper & less labour to remove/install everything when you need a new manifold cause you did not make the cuts to the first one.

Can I ask why you are wanting to get a TD-04 turbo then? if you are going to get an aftermarket manifold etc etc?

Why not go for a Garrett turbo, aftermarket manifold & downpipe etc....?? there's LOADS of choices out there, many of which will be better than the Mitsubishi turbo anyway....


I agree with you about the Greddy kit though, mines been reduced to the turbo & manifold, the rest has been upgraded

It is funny, but I actually like Mitsu Turbos and it seems like most OEs do also ..

not saying Mitsi turbo's par se, but just when choosing a turbo for the Miata there are likely to be better choices than the TD04 turbo in the GReddy kit.

I guess ultimately it comes down to what your power/characteristic goals are, and which turbo best fits that goal.
