10-4; will do. I also think part of the culprit is that my Battery Tender Jr. is dead. It's not illuminating the LED at all. I put the battery on my backup Harbor Freight charger and the battery is starting to pick up voltage.


sixshooter - If you think about it, can you give me more info on the battery the next time you have the trunk open? I tried a search for "U3 series battery" and I am only getting electronics (e.g. laptop) results.

U1-3 or U1 series, my mistake. I think they make a -1 a -2 and a -3 with different CCA's

My tender won't take a dead battery from below a certain voltage. If I get one that flat, I need to give it a kick with my big-boy trickle charger for a few minutes before the tender will grab on and take it back to glory.
