Thinking about upgrading from ebay alu 42mm radiator to a crossflow one, what about a real comparison between 949 and TSE versions? Some experiences about?
ps. i am tracking a 1.6 gt28rs (reroute no AC) with outside temp in the 80-90 F° range and hitting 245/250 F° after 5/6 laps...

I believe the TSE radiator has higher cooling capacity which can be necessary for high horsepower turbo track cars. That is why it's more expensive. The 949 radiator is still a great radiator but is cheaper and adequate for any street car and most any track car that is not a high horsepower turbo car. I have the FM radiator because when my radiator blew up TSE didn't have any in stock and 949's did not exist. The FM radiator has also been great and I drive a turbo car that sees the track.

I don't think I have seen anyone do back to back comparisons between TSE and 949. What was posted above of the differences are probably about right. For 95% of the people the 949 is probably more then adequate. For the higher HP turbo track cars the TSE is probably a bit better due to bigger capacity.
