Recommended Tire Temp for best friction
I just started playing around with tire pressures and a tire pyrometer.
What temp and tire pressure should I be trying to shoot for on RE-71R tires 205/50/15 for the highest amount of friction?
Just based on my temp spreads across the tires, I think I have way too much camber for the turning I'm doing on the mountain roads, but I guess that's to be expected.
I'm guessing when I'm actually pushing the car (If I can, lol) on the track, the temp spread would even out more.
Thanks,
Marcello

Yeah, I read that, it's the reason I bought a pyrometer, I just couldn't find the specs on the tire, and Bridgestone hasn't gotten back with me.
I guess I'll have to call their tech department.
Gotcha, Buddy. I really need to get to some autocross and track events for some experimenting.
Thanks everyone
