Default Flywheel question

So for 1.8 owners we have been using 1.6 fly wheel as a cheaper alternative. My question is may I use 7.8lb SuperMiata Flywheel 1.6 Miata flywheel? or do I have to use 11.3lb Exedy Miata Flywheel

First off the reason most people use a 1.6 flywheel on a 1.8 is to save weight but the short answer is simple, use the lightest flywheel - clutch combo that will handle your power goals
