Would putting the helper springs back in help solve this issue or do I just need more travel so that the wheel will still make contact with the floor?

It makes contact and it bucks the car a little. Feels kind of like wheel hop but I can usually put it in reverse and wiggle the steering wheel a little and it'll roll back and I can try again. My car isn't super low anymore, I can clear speed bumps just fine. I got 1 finger wheel gap on the front on a 16x8 wrapped in a 205/40 and 2 fingers wheel gap on the rear, same rim/tire.
The door bars are what did that, your chassis is no longer flexing like it used to and wont allow the other tire to touch. My spec miata with a cage and torsen would do the same thing. You can actually get stuck and have to get out of the car and push it off the driveway...lol. FWIY, my Genesis Coupe does the same thing.

Yes. They're not stupid steep, just regular entrances to parking lots or fast food places. Instead of going at a very wide angle like I used to, I try to go in as straight as possible. If you just have the racelands, you don't have to worry about this issue, it only started once I put a roll bar+door bars. You can definitely feel the difference it made. No more creaking from the chassis.

Why haven't I installed my roll bar and door bars yet? I'm so lazy...not looking forward to stripping and repainting it. Thanks for the extra motivation.

What kind of roll bar and door bars did you get?

It's a one off produced one. There's a local guy that I've heard of for years making cages for track cars/drift cars/anyone wanting a cage. Mine was built to forumla d specs if I remember right so I can do tandem's should I ever decide to drift my car.

He made this one and used it in his NB but got tired of it because of how much of the interior needed to be removed for the door bars (door panel, carpet, rear parcel). Its currently in my garage with the fresh paint drying...

New penny is the color code, just a nice shiny copper and I tossed in some red and gold flake.

I just bought a set of ricelands too.. kind of stoaked to install them and see how they ride.. LOL Well, I have some h&r racing springs laying around, if I remember correctly they have 250 spring rates on the rear right? Anyone know how many inches they are and will they work on the racelands?

I just installed my fronts but I haven't installed the rears. I left my rears alone, it's koni yellows with h&r springs, damping set to stiffest. I believe the spring rates are 250 lbs and it's progressive (correct me if I'm wrong). Is the raceland springs linear or progressive? I guess I'm at 400/250. I went for a drive and I'm amazed, and so are my friends. It feels much better than when it was just koni/h&r all around. I felt very very minimum body roll when taking decent fast 90degree turns and it still maintained a pretty soft ride when I hit bumps on shitty roads, the rears are still stiff but the fronts feels amazing when going over bumps. Of course I haven't really driven it hard, so I have no comment on that type of driving/experience. But so far, I like the way it feels. Let's see how long they'll last.

Do you guys think I should keep it the way it is for now or should I swap them out and put in the rear ricelands? What do you guys think of having 2 set of shocks / springs on the miata? haha And also, if raceland springs are linear and h&rs are progressive, is this a very bad combo, or it shouldn't matter much?

Put them on and see which one you prefer, it is your car after all.

Anyone interested in buying my set? I'm considering buying some stance's since I'm needing something way stiffer now for some awesome wheel fitment.

I made some room, I'd probably want a little over $200 with my top hats so you can don't have to bother taking your stock ones apart.

I still am debating getting stance's & finishing up the turbo setup, all I need is to tap the oil pan, I need all the intake piping, intercooler, and get an fpr or figure out whats wrong with my MS.

My other option is sell all the turbo stuff, and get my brother's 240sx he offered to me and turbo it and I can remove all the comforts like a/c and what not.

Fm cast manifold and downpipe (powerdercoated black) for a t25/t28
gti-r t28 with the s14 BB intake housing, should be good for around 300whp
both intake elbows, oil lines only thing it needs is a wastegate bracket

I built a MS for it but the car won't give any spark at all, car was responding with my netbook perfectly and injectors were going on perfectly just no spark but haven't messed with it since I tried to install it.

Cliff notes, turbo manifold+dp, turbo that needs a bracket for the wastgate, oil lines, and MS that probably just needs a little tweaking but it could just be the settings.
