Default Wiring EBC

Time to fire up the car tomorrow with the 600's, tune, and then wire up the EBC. Problem is, I have absolutely no idea how to do it. How/where do I tap into one of the Adaptronic outputs to set this up? It's not like there is a set of wires hanging off the PnP loom saying "use me! use me!". Please help an electronically clueless guy out here!

Also, I got the DIY EBC kit. It comes with these little dinky 1/8" hose barbs. Is that enough? And there are three ports on the EBC. I figured I would only need two. Plug one? As you can see, I have no idea what I am doing and don't want to blow up ****.

If there is a place to look, please point me in the right direction.

If I remember Travis correctly, he said to use the port/wiring that goes to the egr sensor. Find out which wires it is, disconnect them from the egr, use them for wiring up the solenoid, and then in the adaptronic find out which com uses the egr and and switch it over to ebc.

*if all that sounds like clueless mumbo jumbo I apologize

Yeah, I think you use the EGR output, there's definitely a setting in WARI you can change for an EBC.

1/8" barbs should be fine, and as for the third port, you don't use it. On the page that you order the EBC from on DIY's site (here) it tells you which ports do what.

Hey all,

I am doing my install right now and wanted to connect the EBC before all is said and done. Was it the wire for the EGR that you used? I take it one wire of the DIY EBC kit goes to ground and the other to the EGR wire out of the Adaptronic?

Thanks all and cheers!

You need +12 to one side of the solenoid and the pull-to-ground aux out from the adaptronic. I'm not sure what the plug-in harness uses for the EBC output though.

Ahh, that makes sense to me! Thanks for the help.

It's going to be a while before I am ready to install the EBC anyhow since just got the car idling for the first time ever at 11 last night. Have a lot of work to do and soo many questions!

Cheers,
Prospero
