It works fine. Just make sure you do lots of datalogging before you switch over to your MAP voltage table.

I'm really not sure what you are asking. That video is showing how to set a target AFR using the f/ic. If you just tune your fuel cell properly you won't have to worry about having the f/ic automatically try to reach a target AFR.

I installed my FIC 6 yesterday and the car works fine. You can trust dbmiata.com instructions by the letter, it works.

My last hurdle is the MAF sensor.
I thought about removing it and install a spare GM 3 bar map sensor I have hanging around fed from a vacuum nipple on the intake manifold. Wired on the MAF in, MAF out wires on the ECU wiring and intercepted for the FIC. I already have a GM IAT sensor installed on the intercooler piping because I planned to mspnp the car without success.

Would it be a good idea considering I want to get rid of the MAF?? Gurus guide me through this, thanks!!

Your best bet is to use the internal map sensor on the f/ic and do the MAF simulation.
