Yes. There are photos on here of wool tufts being blown inboard through vents at the base of the rear window.

I would assume the best location would be at or near the top of the rear window. I suspected that would be the favored location.

I would assume so but again it may be a case for smoothing rather than ventilation then use that to help ventilation.
You could try a hardtop spoiler edge with opening below it.

Airfow from the rear edge of the hardtop glass to the rear edge of the trunklid is going to change dramatically depending on whether or not a wing exists and where that wing is
