I was curious about the weight as well. Did they give you a number on the fastback? I seem to recall reading somewhere that it was roughly the weight of an OEM hardtop, with the lightweight top being 20-25lbs lighter...
Gonna experiment at the track tomorrow with this little longtail I cut and installed this afternoon. $33 sheet of .050" aluminum and some buttonhead fasteners I already had laying around. Pretty low buy in for an experiment, no? Not too worried about drilling holes in the trunk as the paint was already obliterated.
Temps are supposed to be consistent at the track tomorrow. High 50's to low 60's all day. Should be perfect for a little back to back testing with and without the extension. I'll log the data on my Aim and report back!

Minimal, but yes! I ended up running 4 of the 5 sessions that day with the ducktail attached. Top speed at the end of the front straight was 1mph higher with the ducktail than without, but the session I did without the tail was a little hotter out.
What was notable, though, is that the car felt more oversteery without the ducktail than with it. This is totally seat of the pants but I do feel like it increased rear downforce and took the car from neutral at high speed to mildly understeery.
I've left the tail on since then because I do believe it's making a minor improvement in drag and downforce.
Here’s my “fastback” in progress. Planning to assemble like Hutchins racing 3d printed fastback. My plan is for the hatch to be opened and closed from the trunk latch. Not sure how hard this will be to fit! The 3d scan I found online had a seam.
Used the aerodynamic template linked from the occam’s racer website to model the side profile and top profile from the canopy.
