Default Another BEGi Customer Service Thread

Yep It's another BEGi customer service thread. Except this one is here to give Kudos to Steph and the crew.

I bought an intercooled S kit from them just under a year ago. Never used it due to the fact that I didn't have a healthy motor. I sold it yesterday, buyer reports a fitting missing, and oil feed line doesn't' fit.

I call Steph this morning, and the fitting is in the mail today to the new buyer. The oil feed line was a excommunication between the buyer and I. She is exchanging the parts for him.

She very easily could have told us to pound sand, and charged us for new parts.

Anyway, just spreading the love.

I've been treated very well by them also. Above and beyond. Unexpected free parts on occasion. They, like most companies, have their good and bad. My experiences have been very positive.

I haven't even purchased anything from them directly and they offered to modifying their dp to fit an external wastegate for free if i bought their dp (would have to send in my wastegate obviously, but not a bad offer to say the least)

great for you guys! I have not got any of that...maybe they've switched management...I had been trying to order an exhaust manifold for a month under our business account. couldnt get a price, cool faxed the info, heard nothing back....called yesterday spoke to Corky he says "I dont see the problem they're on the shelf" but Stephanie was out and she does billing...so she does return the call a few hours later... stating that she cant do the full business discount because for some reason our tax & license for resale doesn't meet their requirements. ??? same paper work for our accounts @ Mercedes ,@ bmw of south atl @ nissan South @ Advance Auto @ Autozone @ oriely's @ Allen vigil Ford ? ok she said she'd check with them and get back with me... these are the facts, feelings are hassled, harrased & still haven't heard back...end result it just got me looking closer @ getting another one from Bill's folks.

Good lord man. How can you expect anyone to take whatever the hell you just said even remotely close to seriously with your complete disregard for English sentence structure and punctuation?

Your whole complaint is that they didn't accept your Resale Certificate to be considered a dealer for a discount correct? I have people that call me all the time touting a Resale Certification that I know are either the end user themselves or a one time transaction that is more of a hassle than it is worth to setup a dealer account. Don't just expect to be able to get special pricing because your shop has Resale Certification and you get it elsewhere.

It sounds to me that if you just tried to buy it in a normal transaction, you would have a quick turn around. I don't really see how this reflects poorly on BEGi.

Sounds like you're trying to give them your Georgia sales tax exemption paperwork, which is probably why it doesn't make sense to a company based in Texas. They shouldn't charge you sales tax anyway since the parts would be going out of state. I also kinda doubt any company is going to give you a business discount when you're buying one part, and they certainly wouldn't be obligated to do so.

Please read the dealer application a little closer. It explicitly states:
"BEGI will only extend wholesale / jobber pricing to those individuals or entities that operate legitimate, licensed businesses that offer for sale goods and/or services that are considered as related to the products and services offered by BEGi. BEGi reserves the sole right to determine the suitability of all applicants, and to extend, deny, revoke, or suspend any wholesale / jobber prices and accounts."

Your business's SIC code indicates that it is a used car dealership. We do not extend wholesale pricing to used car dealers. When you called to tell me that you are a service shop as well, I submitted a background check. It came back yesterday that you did indeed perform services and repairs. Which is in line with our policy.

Based on the report from the background check, I can set you up with a dealer account. However, your online antics will not win you any favors. You asked for reconsideration, and I investigated further. You also forget to mention that I offered you a "goodwill" discount when the application was denied. I was trying to be nice, and I apologize if that rubbed you the wrong way. If you would still like to order the manifold, please give me a call.
Stephanie
