With the announcement of K Miata supporting bmw transmissions I have switch from minitek's J32 swap. No negativity in my thread please, constructive criticism is awesome but I don't want to hear about how I'll never finish my swap. Thanks
Plan is to finish the project with in 2 years
MSA based out in Kentucky will be building the K24 with an A2 head, H beam rods, Wisco pistions, Kpro.
MSA will have final say on part picking since they are the best K Pro tuner in the area.
Fuel pump, injectors, ect all will be picked out by MSA
Once I get the majority of the K kit i'm going to flat bed my car there where they will build the block and reinstall the engine, transmission, turbo, ect and Dyno tune.
I'm aiming for 600hp with E85
Budgets out the window.
Getrad rear end from the v8 conversions
BMW E36 5 speed
GT35R turbo clone
wants ebay turbo kit
decides J32 swap is better, puts deposit on swap kit, sells stock vvt motor for peanuts.
decides K swap mucho better, looses $200 deposit for J swap, buys $200 k motor and $50 bmw transmission.
Makes this build thread on 5/7/2017
NEVER TO BE SEEN AGAIN.

So a clean looking Miata is now motor-less, and he lost $450.
Id say he came out well, some people dive in deep $$$ and give up.
