Pulled the dummy engine out of the car and made a turbo brace/lift yesterday.
Made it in 316l stainless tubing and rod.

Here is the first design draft of the billet dual chamber plenum intake.
The tweaking of the design begins after some flow simulation testing, split size, taper of the intake and so on.
And when the flow is equal over the 4 runners, the runner length and plenum size will also be tweaked for the rpm band of the engine.

I Started building the exhaust before the summer vacation, not finished yet, stil need to route the dual wastegate setup down past the gearbox. Seen a lot of 3,5 inch (cat back) systems on a miata?

Nice welds on those flex joints. Those are a pain in the *** to be consistent on. Quality work as always

Damn, it even looks like you can get the rear cross brace back on. It was quite a struggle fitting my 3.5" exhaust past the axle. But I also ran the muffler straight back on that side.

Yes it fits. But i made a custom aluminium brace for this car,
How loud did your car end up being?
i bougth the biggest exhaust muffler i could find, it's is 65cm long.
The tracks in norway has a maximum 100db limit and it's also a street car, so i have to make it as quiet as possible for a 3,5 inch exhaust.

Quite quiet, I used both lengths of dynamaxx race bullets (I think its like 8" and 12" long) in the mid pipe and the standard borla center in/out with a turndown. Same setup I used on the BP with 3" exhaust just sized up to 3.5" basically. Our noise restrictions were 95bd at 75 feet and it was somewhere in the 80's really no louder than the 3" setup.
