What a dick.

We had some kids (who im almost positive belong to the event organizers)in rx7s passing on the warm lap while we are doing tire warm up slaloms. I almost slalomed right into the same kid on 2 different occasions. Only reason I didnt is because I check my mirrors often, even when I shouldnt have to. Passing on warm up is strictly prohibited. They havnt been there since the last time it happened, and I saw one of the cars for sale on CL.

<p>I spoke to accused&nbsp;the other black BMW in my run group but he gracefully took my accusation and said that it wasn't him, and he only passed with point by's, but he had seen the other BMW passing without point by's on multiple occasions.</p>

All ebay v-bands all the time. I haven't had problems, other than a stainless nut welding itself to the stainless clamp. Use anti seize and win at life.

I don't think I spent any more than $20 per set of rings and clamp.

I think I might have bought them from this guy in Georiga.

Just for future reference, and for the noobs that may read this- make sure you get the self aligning "male/female" rings with the alignment tongue and groove. Non self aligning v bands are as gay as a 3 bolt flange.

Are you using SS exhaust tubing or something?

All my 2.5" v-bands are gay, the v-band turbine outlet is flat so no alignment rings will fit. It works fine. I guess I only have that one 2.5" clamp, now that I think about it. Two more 3" clamps, at the downpipe and before the diff.

same guy sells both flavors, SS, mild, self aligning or non aligning.

I bought a gay 2.5" for the outlet and it would misalign by 1/8"+ everytime

Hopefully I can find somewhere for it to squeeze in.</p><p>Also starting to plan my exhaust. I need to dig around more but I think I'm going to have a straight to the rear axle, then a 45* up, then a v-band.</p><p>Option 1: Bit of straight going right out the middle of the bumper. 3&quot; front to back no resonator, no muffler. Track duty. Might have a resonator in it if I can find it cheap, some sort of cannon</p><p>Second Option 1. Simple turn down. Then I can drive to the track muffled, and just drop it and throw on the turndown. Or angle it if its too loud.</p><p>Option 2: fatty magnaflow for non-track days.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
