8400rpm at 30 miles here.16lbs of boost. Yolo

But yea those that follow mine know my rings took about 400 miles to seat fwiw. Although that is not the norm.

No way would I be doing 300hp runs with that in the engine.
Straight-weight, non-detergent oil for the ring seating. That comes out after 50 miles, before the dyno runs, and the regular oil goes in then.

Regular as in, not straight weight, has detergents and other additives.

"regular" as in, whatever you'd normally put in the engine. Amsoil or Rotella or whatever.

You can run whatever you want for oil at break in as long as you have a plateau hone and rings that arent cast iron. AKA your engine was built to at least 1990's standards of technology, which isnt exactly a given in this day and age.

Kris swears that a long run of John Mann's engines blowing up was due to using synthetic.

During break in? Or using synthetic in general?

Oil cooler sealed to the radiator. Will probably use the same stuff to seal the intercooler to the radiator.

Is this the stuff you can find at Home Depot, or some sorta fancy stuff. I was looking at the Depot stuff the other day for a similar purpose.

Just home Depot stuff. Didn't stick too great we'll see if it stays.

Lololol. I'm too clumsy. Those have to be covered.
