There will be some cut-outs for access in the door to install the hinge bolts etc. I took some video footage to see how my new phone works.

Trunk, still needs trimming and i have to wash off the pva.
I weighed it too - It is 2.86lb's with the internal frame on, and it still needs trimming around the edges..... So i would think finished weight would be 2.5 lb's. And it is amazingly stiff now, it is almost imposiible to twist it, and definately can not bend it.

Your work is absolutely amazing and looks great I wish I had a place to lean this stuff. I have used fiberglass with some success in the past but nothing I would say is really good quality.

There is plenty of info online or go to the library to learn to make any parts you like. The front spoiler is a bit tricky to do, so i wouldn't do that for a first project. And yes, of course it is cheaper to make the parts yourself. As long as you have a project big enough to use most of the materials.
