No I didnt. I was reading up on that, and somewhere it say you could fry your coils by not unplugging the CAS, or something like it. I figure even if I do that Im gonna have issues torquing it back up to spec, so i got the tool. How do you exactly "bump the starter" anyway?

Put the socket and breaker bar on the pulley bolt. Put a long piece of pipe on the breaker bar, so it touches the ground barely. Put the car in neutral, and turn the key. It is very important to make sure it's on the correct side, or it'll fly the ~270 degrees around, damaging everything in it's path.
If the engine is coming out, you can put a piece of pipe between two flywheel bolts and have someone hold it while your torque the front pulley.

. You ************* had thought to ignore the interwebz. Is all good. The plan is to remove the head. Send it to be cleaned, replaced the seals..ect. Then replace the headgasket, wp. tb, and seals. Finally assemble this bitch and boost till it breaks, hopefully it wont be right away
Im skipping the built block. After seeing Jared shenanigans I rather chill for now, also shops around here charge a kidney and a leg to assemble ****. Like I said hopefully once Im done with this part the engine holds till I can feel comfortable putting a short-block together.

I just dont feel comfortable yet. Also I dont have the work space. I do all my work in a parking spot in front of my house; by doing so I have to take **** from the parents and from the association. So I'll probably consider the built later, when I dont have tuition coming up and with a spare block.
