Can we have a mod clean up this poor guys build thread it's going to be a cool build when its done and the thread is way derailed. People can still debate throttle body size in a new thread if need be.

You should never assume that all opinions are equal, ever. Some people know more about certain topics than other people, and their opinions should be weighted as such.
I think you miss the point. Let people express their opinion, right or wrong. It's a discussion board after all.... An ego driven attitude steers away people no matter how educated your opinion may be at the end of the day. This board is known for this issue extending to vendors. Most of us around here are a bunch of hobbysit sharing something in common. ****-talking is part of the entertainment.

Thank you sir. Perhaps but I won't be able to update this thread for a while. Work trips involving Japan and South America for most of the year. The little free time I have is left for my ND. I barely been to the race track this year, goal is to make it at least one more time this year lol

Owner manually actuated the TB to hold it fully open for a pull, and we saw zero gains at ~270whp.

There are physical reasons why large throttle bodies simply cannot be made to have the same driveability as small throttle bodies, 521ci water-jacketed funny car engines with 105mm throttle bodies aside.
It was a 74mm throttle body actually. Once I resolved the restriction in the exhaust I got the same 300whp as I did with the stock Honda throttle body. IIRC it was 60mm-65mm, So I got zero gains and now have a very touchy throttle. Not one of the best mods I've done.

I run a 70mm throttle body on my N/A car and love it. I'm using a Haltech with a map tune. Whilst it is fairly touchy I have no driveablilty issues on track. I think maybe FI multiplies it all but letting more air cram through a smaller gap.
