It's a monstrosity! Pretty cool. You will probably want to switch to a 4.77 rear diff now.

I still think an additional 3/4 inch body lift would be cool, but I know that's a project for another time.

I'm going to tough this out for the time being. Then once things start happening with the big paco lift I'll regear to turn 31's with ease.

Enjoying this bizarre build thread, the level of effort and attention to detail is outstanding.

Here ya go for today. Drives like a bag of hammers and makes all sorts of unpleasent noises but.... what do you expect when you build a car. Takes some time to figure out the kinks.

When you paint the car maintain the wackiness.

Saw the car on /r/shitty_car_mods. Instantly recognized it in the thumbnail and laughed.

Well I heard a noise the other day when I was on my way home. Sure enough as I was close to home, I all of a sudden a big "clunk" and the battery light came on and I knew what was up...
Crank pulley sheared right off.

Got her all fixed up now and she's right as rain.

And lights because well.... this thing doesn't draw enough attention to itself already as it is.

This thing just doesn't look real, especially with the "Light Sabre Rear Defense System".

Left the shop to go get the mail... head another noise. Silly me didn't seem to notice the temporary shocks I put in there were VERY hacked together by whoever put them to together. (probably cause I was in a rush to get this thing mobile.) Stripped the treads right off the top. Thought I snapped it at first. Good thing I have many spares. Got her all fixed up quickly and I went and got the mail.

Well, I tried to go all cool and see how much flex I got. Turns out the snow was still soft and I just sort of "plowed" into a snow bank. I had a good laugh. This car makes me smile. That's why I built it.

apparently on a small tiny camera screen in -30 degrees, this looked in focus. Apparently my eyeballs were freezing and I was wrong.

I think tomorrows project is going to be making a tongue for it. It just needs a tongue. I usually cringe at those people that put a tongue in their bumpers but this thing just needs a tongue. It's a happy dog that has just come up to you full of wet earthy type material wagging it's tail flinging mud everywhere shouting "HEY! I'm a dog and I don't care that you're clean!"
