Most useless slow turbo miata ever. Damn thing sounded like it spooled at 6800rpm... Am i the only one thinking this?

 

Turbo spools much faster in his vids.

 

Damn no flat-shifting, double clutching like he should! I say he needs NOS! Two of the big bottles...

 

On second inspection: that thing misfires like mad pulling through gears! Is it just me??

 

Thats spark cut traction control, not misfires. (though he might also have those not sure).

And those dyno pulls look seriously weaksous.

The last one is at least somewhat promising, so I'm just hoping the 1st 2 were part throttle or something.

 

bear in mind it's a dyno dynamics (I think?) and their "dyno pull" ramp rate may be somewhat slower than a dynojet roller.

 

I sincerely hope that's what it is.

my supra's HKS BOV is the micheal winslow of car parts. On little to no boost, it hisses, on cruise boost (2-3psi) it will squeak, on medium boost, it sounds like a pony, on a quick gear shift, it sounds like breaking the sound barrier, on full max boost and a let off, gives off the most ricey sounding (Fast and furious sound) whoosh evar.

At other unpredictable times, it depends on how I am driving.

I will make one comment. Take it FWIW. He texted me in the early PM yesterday (after these pulls) inquiring about getting a ride in my LS6 car accompanied by some grumblings about turbos, etc.

Calling it now: 385 whp, 350 tq

 

320whp, 300ft/lbs tq
