The rape miata runs. I know because I rode in it. Runs good - misfire under load but you know it's raping already because IC coupler blew off 3 minutes in.

I also got a taste of Hydra ECU. WHAT A PIECE OF SНIТ!! Seriously. The car has major hot-start issues. It takes like 10 minutes of cranking and dicking around with the cranking enrichment table to get it to catch.

I have the same engine and same injectors - yet my car starts up every god damn time in less than 3 seconds. Epic fail, especially considering that the hydra is 2x the price of my MS3.

 

I was just about to ask if he ever got that bitch on a dyno, but I guess the answer is no.

 

We talked about dyno. I tried to sway him towards the dyno right next to my house because its good and, most importantly, take 1080p video of dyno pulls. Sadly, that dyno is like 50 miles away from his place.

Stuff he needs to fix before dyno is possible
- Misfiring
- Fuel needs to be street tuned
- Runs very, very hot. Coolant temp like WHOA
- Gay Hydra needs to die

 

I've pretty sure my anus functions better as a tuning device than Hydra does.

 

I say for entertainment sake, we put some money together for a MS or someone donate a MS2 to him to get rid of the Hydra POS and see this thing dyno! Although I am not complaining reading about the eipc fails!

Actually, the ONLY thing that's missing from MS3X is knock detection. The DIYAutoTune "magic knock module" is still "coming tomorrow". Fae loves his knock sensor long time.
