Wow.

Dimitris, recommend you step away from this thread for a while. Take a break (I know it's late there). Come back tomorrow, give it a fresh read and let's see if we can make this work out for Justin.

I think you are reading his statement in a tone that he did not actually intend. He is merely stating that he has not heard of the issue before now. Therefore, he assumes people must be ghetto rigging it somehow if it really doesn't fit. You seem to be overly sensitive.

The fact that I asked Justin for that video would make one think that I obviously want to find a solution for him. No?

Justin, video received but I'm on a tablet right now so I'll check it out tomorrow morning.

The words speak for themselves. I agree, I don't think Dimitris really meant to write that second post in that manner.

Do you not see the harness forced into the firewall?

I see what looks like a tight loom on the other end with room to push back.

unwrap a few inches of that loom and push it back away from the firewall, mount it and then loom it again in its new position.

again, do you think its any different when you bolt a cover over it to hold it from moving in the stock location of early cars?

you are complaining about it not fitting. It fits, you just don't want to make it work.

It was a relationship that I am trying to relate you to so you can understand that as long as you firmly mount the ECU its not going to be a problem AT ALL.
Pull up your panties and quit blaming someone that makes an aftermarket product -that works- as not working as described.

You're right, it does fit up in there, but with the harness forced into the firewall. Are your wires smashed to the point it is creasing them? Didn't think so.

Also another problem, it sits way to low even pushing this as far in as possible. Your foot gets caught going from the brake to the clutch pedal, is that not a safety issue? I guess those two pedals aren't even needed.

You assume this will just slam under the dash and everything will be alright, that's not the case. You CAN'T FIRMLY MOUNT THE ECU

Last selling price was $8k. Freaking bargain.

Justin hasn't signed in here since December. Last I knew, he was going to a machinist school in Houston. Don't know if he did it though. I've tried to text him to invite him out to the track -- no response.

Kind of my fault I guess. Told him he should probably be spending more on his future than on his car at his stage of life.

He's going to do well. Smart young man.
