haha i was joking. V and I would rip on the xidas and how the fanboys say how comfortable they are. Get in the know. :P

I am, however, looking forward to the ride quality/nvh change with the coaxial top mounts, and delrin bushings.

Yeah, I better get some wun tun truck springs for my set. My back hasn't been hurting enough lately.

I could use me some 80% tires... in a 205/50R15.

You still rolling on the MSM anchors?

Car is completely un-modified still. All I've done is clean up, maint, and a bit of detailing.

Yes, the anchors are super heavy and super rough. Also it never ceases to amaze me how funky they set up the MSM suspension, where it's stiff on every single imperfection making for a super harsh ride, and then absorbs the really big stuff.

This thing is still new/mint enough not to have the crazy "bog" so it actually feels/drives really good power wise. Not great, like with a proper ecu, but not terrible like the high mile MSM's on stock ecu.

So if anything, I think my 1st mods will be wheels and then suspension. We'll see.

There's a set for a good deal just 2 hours away, actually
I'm STRONGLY considering. Actually, if it wasn't 2 hours away, I'd probably already have them haha.

*EDIT: also I'm in love with Velocity Red now. I can't stop looking at it and taking pictures

I've always through Velocity Red was one of the best colors Mazda ever put on their cars. I actually debated painting my AE86 Corolla that color years ago.

I agree, velocity red especially with a canvas top makes a beautiful looking miata.

I'd say Xidas are comfortable but that's in comparison to other very stiff spring suspensions. Looks like you got a great find, one of the last clean stock msm's. I bought a stock one, but the paint and bumpers are ****.

I'm going to guess not xidas. Not comfy enough, too expensive, and i don't think he's getting new tires.

I'm going to guess bilsteins. I'm also gunna say he stays with stock swaybars.

lol I really liked my tokicos. If I could find another set locally I'd get em.
And actually tires are next on the list. Or wheels. I love me some advanti storm s1, there's a black set locally.

If it were my car, I wouldn't buy anything at all, just RE71R tires and call it good. Blow the suspension out, keep driving.

Sorta, once it dumps the fuel in correctly.

The storms would look nice, so would some Jongbloeds if you can find a set around.

I did the leg work once to find the part numbers for a full tokico set, 3 or 4 different sites that still sell them *new*, get FM springs and put them together.

Why not try budget bilstein HD or S with coil over sleeves? Or just stick with your silvers and do FM spring for science?
