That pretty much describes most of this forum. MiataTurbo is like the awkward morning after the drunken orgy when you realize there are way too many Ms and not enough Fs in the room. You know you had a good time but you really don't want to think about it too hard.

This is better. Something doesn't sit well with Y8S, Brain, Perez and you without turbo miatas. Or at least that is what I gather. Joe is moving the right direction.
Schuyler is doing a pretty good job of turboing his daily, and this is his first time, and built his MS, rather than starting with a Reverant wonderment.

I was really close to pulling the trigger on a 6258 but no, I didn't get that.
I got 2 turbos right now: a brand new gt2560r and freshly rebuilt sr t25, with ABSURDflow sidemount and bits and pieces of a FM2 system.
I don't really even have a good game plan this time around. Just fiddling with parts and hoping to boost it someday. Picked up a spare motor from my bro to build when I'm bored. We'll see. Nothing exciting will be happening any tmie soon.

lol you gehz
Welp, the car threw its FIRST check engine code ever the other day: P0010
I cleared it twice and it came back twice after about 2 cold start cycles. So its "real".
Researching the issue blows - the answers are all over the place. The code itself is for Camshaft Position Actuator Circuit (Bank 1) which seems straightforward, except on the 01+ its supposedly vvt or vvt oil control solenoid related. As always, no two threads I've found on the matter indicate the same parts replaced, which drives me nuts.
So,
Anyone know what I should replace first? I'm guessing swap out the cam sensor and see if it goes away.
Car is a bone stock VVT 2001, and has run like an absolute champ for the whole time I owned it. Never had 1 single issue. Underhood it is cleaner that probably 90% of the cars on this site. So I don't want to start hacking stuff or chucking parts at it if you know what I mean.
