I'm pretty sure firing order is 1-4 2-3. for 1.8s for 1.6s its 3-2 1-4.

dude. no. don't be that guy that posts crap without knowing anything.

the firing order is 1-3-4-2. '90-'05.

What you are talking about how youre supposed to hook up your coil packs, but that doesnt even matter as you should notice you paired 2-3 and 1-4, which is the same, again, for '90-05.

Sorry that's what miata.net says, that's why I thought you had to pair 4-1, 2-3 for twin scroll designs

well you're correct on that, most would pair 1-4 and 2-3 because it would evenly distribute the exhaust pulses through the secondaries.

I believe the 1-3 and 4-2 arrangement would cause #1 to scavenge #3, then #4 scavenge #2.

Tried flat-foting the carousel at the end. Did not like.

Sorry to bug ya again about it, but I'd really like to see a little write up about your light bar set up.

Thanks!

So there's a MS for sale pretty local to me but I know nothing about them so... Thoughts?

click here for more pics and information on the MS box.

Its for sale because I have no idea how to program it for 60-2 ignition pick up ops:
It comes with a 4.5 foot long wiring harness and a serial to usb adapter.

Dude wants $200...

I don't have anything to say about that MS, other than MS in general is bad---------***.

Your car is awesome, such a nice little track car. Killer video above, very enjoyable to watch. Nice drift through that carousel, haha!

I think I just got this joke, months later.... The car lloks like a bitch because I hadn't played with tire pressure yet so it was pushing like mad and I'm an overall hack behind the wheel.

Just finished reading the entire thread. It's huge! I'm referring all my buddies who want a cheap, reliable, cool track car to your thread.

Soooo, lame update time!

Blew my 5 speed at the last event (vids on last page) then "moved" from NM to GA about 2 months ago for a new job (moving back to NM in another month or so) and ended up finding a 6-speed about 20 minutes from me for pretty cheap.

Picking up the 6'er this Sunday and it's getting shipped back to NM so my buddy can toss it in the car and drive it for the rest of our time attack points series since he popped the LS1 in his 240... :claugh:

Aaaaaaand, just bought this. MS2(?) DIYPNP 94-95. Sequential injection, DB9 serial cable, USB/serial adapter and IAT sensor + aluminum bung. (I don't know what any of that means.)

Just this:

Gotta give Nick the rest of the money for the 6-speed, pick it up and head home on the 31st. As soon as the trans makes it back I'll toss it in, get the MS setup and try to get the car out to UMS tuning in AZ for a tune. Not sure if any of that cool stuff will be happening any time soon though, my new job has me traveling for most of Sept. and Oct. I think.

At this point I'm just trying to focus on work and get myself and the Miata ready for a '13 season. Boooo.....

Post dump. Sorry dude.

(11-15-2012)

Holy ****, I still own this thing...

6-speed went in a few months ago but I missed being ready for that trackday by a few hours the night before so it's been sitting, again, for a few months. Starter still needs to be bolted in so that's where I'm at today. Headed over to the compound to meet up with my buddy to go grab my Miata from our other shop.

Oh, hey! What's up?

Push started the car and drove it back to the compound, haven't driven it in 6 months or so... 6 forward gears is.... odd... still need to get used to it. XD

My buddy @ House of Grafix whipped me up some new super happy awesome TF decals.

And some more of the Compound's inhabitants, just cause.

My buddy who I bought the Miata from was on the lift with his STi getting ready for Saturday, I should be in the air tomorrow bolting up the starter and then I'll be cleaning it up, it's been a while.
