I wish I had more pics of that beat-*** car before I cleaned it up. It was sooooo janky. Paint was falling off, super-blown shocks, plastic window was blasted, and it was genuinely heinous but only $1600. Its life is a little different now from when a college girl drove it 600 miles each was to college in west Texas.

Review on the pads?

 

They feel ******* great, as good as carbotechs...and they seem to last longer. I should be able to get 4-6 hours on a set. They're only $61 if you search the part # on google shopping.

 

I know, i have the same setup as you, John hooked me up big time! Glad they are working out. I was able to kill a set of carbotech xp 12s on the bbk at laguna last time i was there. I bought them off a friend and he said he has aprox 2 track days on them already. I am stoked they feel good.

Andrew, I'll be taking measurements of both pad and rotors before and after. Only thing is i wont be on track till MRLS, saturday and sunday.

 

I'm new so I can revive this thought right? Just wanted to throw in a giant I agree 1000%. I will never return to that city or anything within 100 miles of it. Within the first month of being down there, I and coworkers went to Crockett street at 10:30pm on a Saturday night...we were 3 out of the 11 people in the bar. **** that place.

Should we really care about rotor wear?

Rotors cost less, sometimes 1/3 the price of a set of pads.

I don't know how fast rotors wear on track with aggressive pads, so feel free to correct me. I just always see this thrown around like it's a real concern when even the Corrado and Sport rotors are ~$25 each.

I'd hope the rotors at least last for one set of pads...so if a set of pads that eats rotors lasts three track days instead of one then you're way ahead.
