Step 1 is to build a set of ***** big enough to take it to the track.
Considering what you've been driving the last year, this is gonna take some getting used to, and I know I would fear the power at first :P
Great build, great car and all that lacks now is.. well.. trackdays? :P
(What he hasn't told everyone, is that winter is knocking on the door in Norway, and tomorrow is the first "official" winter day on the calendar. So trackdays are over, the temperature during the night is below freezing, and we can expect the first snow soon. So this car is barely getting used before it has to be parked for 6 months..)
You have my full and unlimited sympathy, and you know where to come if you need a hug.

ive got a gopro you can use inglar.
the torque curve is very similar to mine arild. And if feels a lot smoother than it looks. you can not feel any kind of peak in the powerdelivery. just pulls hard from 3k to 7,5k. not a problem going out of corners at all. especially with a great big apr wing on the back

The Norwegian language is getting butchered by the technological age too, so we're in the same boat. Norwegians usually use a few abbreviations in English, but mostly cult related by old school nerds. (I.e wtf, lol, omg, etc) I only use it when I need to use a nerdy expression :P
But log on to Warcraft, and you'll be amazed of the poor quality of the language..
I guess it's related to the focus on the english language in schools here (we learn it for 6 years in elementary school, and then in high school for a couple of years) in addition to all the english and american culture through television and movies.
Norwegians are so ******* good, we're even better then you at your own language!
As for the topic of the thread, you're gonna need that wing, Kim. It would be the pickle on the giant Rihanna sandwich that is your car.

Had a good day sunday with some autox. A bit too mutch waiting on those events, but i did manage to test the car a bit. Not used to a 400hp MX-5 so it was a bit chaotic some times hehe. A bit slippery early on but after the track dried up it was better. One thing I notised was that I seriously need to upgrade the brakes. So that is nr. 1 on the list now. Well, actually it is nr 2. The alternator failed at the track so I had to borrow a bettery to get back to the garage. Have to sort that out befor any more driving. But there is no stress for the moment as the car is parked for the winter. No more MX-5 driving for at least 6 months:( It sucks, but now I have a lot of time fixing up the rest of the stuff that needs to be done. Clean up all the wiring. Fix brakes, alternator, roof and finnish the audio. And of course, pictures will be taken and posted here if something exiting happens

Well. The car is back in the garage. A few minor oil leaks is hopefully taken care of. The front crank oil seal from the rebuild kit to FM was a bit smaller than the original Mazda seal, and it had a small fabrikation error. The things to do this winter is to clean up alle the wiring, finish the stereo, get some bigger brakes and a couple of other things.
Finally got the camber sorted out
330mm disks with 17" rims. Should work.
