Yeah I'm thinking I'll stay with my conservative afr table for now and auto tune toward that, as my base fuel values are high even for the rich afr table. When I'm matching my table I'll work on it some. This way I'll be changing less all at once, taking baby steps.

Only problems so far have been nuts and studs loosening, and my bov was leaky (old fm style)
I've got some hoosire slicks coming for the panasports, first track day will be mid november
engine bay is finally cleaned up, just needs some heat shielding now

Cut my steering wheel apart today and welded in spacers to bring it about 3/4" closer to me... It is amazing the difference it made in hard driving; steering feels better, less effort, and most importantly WAY easier to heel/toe
Also got some 8x21.5-13 hoosier slicks mounted on the panasports, 22lbs combined ftw
I'll continue the crappy cellphone picture theme...

What track day are you going to be at? I'll be at VIR the weekend after thanksgiving with AV. If that's the one you're going to feel free to hunt me out, black 1997 with a flat black (bedliner) hard top.
[edit]
I'm guessing that's not the one you're going to. I don't see any student 1994 Miatas registered.

Went to track, had a blast, out of the nine studs involving the turbo, six backed completely out, one nut on the DP was hand-tight, other was tight, and one bolt was tight on the turbo-mani connection... yay
So I switched to bolts instead of stud-nuts and safety wired all that I could. Also replaced the inlet gasket since I melted it
I ran the quickest lap of any my friends recorded (no official timer) thanks to the Hoosiers. Noteworthy competitors included an 04 WRX, 88 M3, 290hp Ion Redline, 04 Boxster, 03 WRX, 04 s2k, and an 06 Corvette
yay me. This was my first-ever auto event of any kind and it was a great low-pressure introduction. I was even worse than I thought I would be but I am hooked for sure and can't wait to get back out to more events.

photo update- new plug wires, wrapped the blue ic piping in black, added the strut tower brace (does seem to help the car feel more solid, possibly placebo)
New wheels are next once someone buys the panasports

Thanks, i haeld out for a black and tan 94 with hardtop for a while, single owner old lady car.
Anyway, i've been busy buyin **** but not doing anything with it... My manifold has been ceramic coated silver, converted to vband with and external gate also (38mm), and i have a new gt2860rs/tial mvs to go with that. I'm doing a coolant reroute and adding a water temp gauge at the same time, and converting to full stainless water lines as well.
TurboTim did all the manifold work and supplied the Tial products, thanks again to him. I'll update when all my new goodies are installed, i'm currently twiddling my thumbs waiting on the water temp kit to arrive since it's on backorder.
Oh yeah, Work meister cr-01's are on order as well, 15x9.5 +29, but those will take a while to arrive

Dude WTF how did I miss this thread, DAMNIT. Your car looks quite slick Kaden!! Some here may think it's rice, but I love the polished hood.
Do you have any pics of your old downpipe? You mentioned a SR20 section; I'm not sure how you're doing the rest of the pipe. And with the EWG dump tube, make sure that thing's braced well if it's not blended back into the downpipe. Sav's first downpipe/dumppipe wasn't blended together and it didn't take long for the MVS to rip off taking part of the manifold with it.
I'm surprised how good the ceramic coating looked starting from a old/used/dirty manifold. Niiice.
Your old T2 flange became part of the jig for Shieund's ramhorn Thanks for saving me some $

Thanks Tim, i dont run the polished hood, it has a big vent cut in it now and will be for the track only if i use it.
There is also no sr20 section in my dp, i ended up just using that to drive to the exhaust shop and then got a full DP made.
Hopefully I can blend it, otherwise i'll be sure to brace it, thanks. I'll try to post pictures soon, the coating does look very good.
