Made several videos of the pulls I did. I think I have open loop boost control enough to where I am happy moving onto closed loop. Here is a 3rd and 4th gear pull with the MKEFRTURBO Setup. This car is pretty fast. I pulled on a stock Camaro earlier and that driver was not happy...ENJOY!

So I bought a welding machine so I can learn and touch up a few items on the miata. At some point I want to get good enough at Tig to make a decent intercooler piping setup for my car. I got the 6 speed shifter turrent rebuilt with the brass bushing from 5xracing. Still need to get some help from Vlad in tuning my car. Have not made any progress on that in months and want to get it ready for dyno day.

Just bought some teflon lined braided ss hose from the local hydraulic shop to replace my current line that runs right over my turbine. Going to take measurements today and have shop make up ends to route around turbo so heat becomes less of an issue. Also will mount neatly, I hope, in engine bay.

Bought some HP+ pads for stock pad replacement. I cant stop well when tuning.

New pads installed and fresh oil change now time to get this darn boost controller lined out and get ready for a dyno day. Anyone know of any good ones in Charleston SC?

6speed is in and car accelerates much faster is what it feels like. Prepping for dyno day now. Its going to be good!

Great day at MKTurbo Dyno day! Got to meet some cool people and see some interesting cars!!
I've got a long list now to hammer out before I revisit the dyno! Throttle cable VICS needs enabling VVTi needs enabling and tuning Idle air valve needs adjustment Need to now tune boost solenoid in closed loop at 16to18psi Need to advance timing -table needs improvements! Big time! Need to clean up fuelling above 5200rpm Need to fix fuelling on throttle lift off. Maybe move my boost reference to back of intake head. Here are my pulls: I'll post more pics tomorrow from computer! |

We added 20% to it for mustang dyno. I think I may have added a bit much but I am tuning now with a buddy and we are working out kinks with this boost controller. Mostly tuning 5th gear. |
