So I started installing the parts. Once the diff bushings are in I am moving on to the brakes. I am hoping the coil overs are here once thats done.

Well it looks like I will be buying and installing a roll bar and door bars sooner then later. I had some wrong information about needing one for HPDE trackdays. O well

Look at that, it's a full day HPDE. I thought LRP was still only doing half day events. I'm going to have to think about this.

I only use racing pads at the track. I keep dedicated track rotors and pads in the shop; when it is time to go to the track I swap rotors and pads.

I like the car, I like the Rim's it looks really good with that hardtop. And it will look even better with the roll bar in it.

The only question I have is WHY??

"I have already ordered 6ul 15x8 in matte bronze and Bridgestone RE-11s 205/50/15."

You get 15x8 and put 205's on it? Why not put bigger rubber on it thats why you go with the wider wheel unless you just like the extra weight?

Thanks

I was thinking 15x9 and 225 but at the time I didn't find a 225 that was not a r-comp also I was a little worried about the 15x9 rubbing. When the car goes turbo I will look more into the 15x9 with 225 but right now with the stock power 205 will be fine.

Ok, well that makes more sense. Just so you know. 225's will also fit on your 15x8 wheels.

Just ordered the door bars and roll bar. Roll bar is the HardCore Double Diagonal. Also got the pad and cover for the bar. This should make the car nice and tight

Car feels great by the way. No more rattles or shakes just a solid ride. I am very happy with the outcome. Not much more to do just the front sway/end links and the coil overs. After that I am going to start getting some supporting mods for going turbo. Such as a bigger radiator, clutch/flywheel stuff like that.

Damn, that bar looks like it's kicking the seat's ***. That wouldn't be cool with me.
