Thanks man. When you've put so much time and effort into something it's always nice to get a virtual high five.
The short answer: my own stupidity. I wasn't checking the oil in between runs like I should have, and with it being a fresh rebuild it was consuming more oil than I expected...guessing the rings weren't fully seated yet. It developed a rod knock at the end of the second day, and there was barely any oil on the dipstick when I pulled it.

Now with video. My best lap of the day was a 1:34 - off a bit of my 1:33 personal best, but I'll take it considering I've given up ~20rwhp in favor of a more conservative tune.
That car was ridiculously clean and very nice. Wish I had some better pics of it.
Spot on

Hit the track again a week and a half ago. Was able to get down to a 1:33.8, a tenth better than my personal best at AMP.

Refinished my ugly azz trailer a few weeks back too.

I haven't signed up for anything yet, but might run the MVP event close to the end of the year. How about you?
I know man - I'm long overdue for a trip to Barber!
I'd be happy to pick out a super gay paint color for you if you want to make your car more memorable

I am doing the august 2-3 NASA event. I would run with MVP, but I have already spent all my track money for the year. no more events :/ I definitely wish I had pushed more events out to october/november since its cooler.
Wow, how the hell has two years passed without me updating this thread.
Car is still great; did a Road Atlanta event back in October and then AMP in the spring. I ran a 1:44 @ Road Atlanta; didn't even bother with the lap timer at AMP since I've been stuck at 1:33 for a few years now.
Here's a video from RA:
Lately, though, I've been focusing all of my efforts on my new build:

It runs the same lap times at AMP as my turbo car...but without a turbo

I've done a terrible job keeping this thread updated. Two years with no updates! Still have the car, still having a blast, have added XIDAs, an Autokonexion Fastback, a Trackspeed Radiator, 15x10s/ 245s, etc.
Took the car to Charlotte Motor Speedway this past weekend to "light up" the Roval. One of the best track days I've ever done.
I think I might need stiffer springs:
