Speaking of n00bs, you all should get a copy of the Factory Shop Manual and do this **** right. There are a surprising number of Special Service Tools that are required to do this job right, and it's not like they are hard to find either.
For example, SST 49 E011 1A0 Crank Fixture Tool, as seen on page 05-10-12 of the Drivetrain section:
I mean, really. You can either **** this up, or you can do it right. The choice is yours.
The other one what? The other flywheel also has a ring gear. Are you not familiar with how flywheels and starters work?

Remove driveshaft from diff, jam in trans, reattach to diff
PUT GEAR OIL IN TRANSMISSION
Hook up wires and things to transmission
Clean, defuckulate and reinstall slave cylinder (goddamn piston popped out)
Secure wiring harness to PPF (zip ties lol)
Finish installing reroute (back of head to rad hose is all that's left)
Figure out what generic Walker exhaust ring gaskets work with Racing Beat header/midpipe/muffler (Buller?)
Fill with distilled, check for leaks
FILL ENGINE WITH OIL
Reinstall nose/air guide/undertray
Flush the brakes with fresh Typ200 or RBF600. I've probably got both around somewhere.
...I think that's it.
Re-wrapping that header is going to need to happen the next time it's out of the car. The wrap on the primaries for 3 and 4 got absolutely trashed by the steering column while I was lifting the engine into place, and that's a huge bummer. I put an obscene amount of effort into wrapping it the first time around. /sigh.
Speaking of exhaust, I'm also a little worried about the proximity of the ENORMOUS air filter to the header. K&N was clearly worried that there might not be enough surface area available for the deep breathing NB, lol. Hell, I think this thing actually has more surface area then the filter on the K&N Typhoon in my Subaru. Maybe I'll get one of those header blanket things.
I'm also going to *try* to do a fluid change on the diff, if I have time. The SVG 75W-90 or 75W-120 that's in there is probably 5 years old at this point. The MTG 75W-90 that came out of the 6 speed was still transparent golden, but also a noticeably darker shade than it went in and smells ever so slightly burnt. It was definitely time to dump that. Minimal grit on the drain plug too so that makes me happy.

Great progress, laughed my *** out on the SST. An airbox would be pretty easy to fabricate for that intake, better than exhaust mani blanket. Even better, do both.

One of those things sounds like it'll take time to make. The other sounds like something I can try to talk a vendor into hand delivering to MRLS this weekend 🤔

It turns out my old 3/8" Husky torque wrench was sticking at 60-65 ft/lbs. As a result I stripped one of the bell housing bolts that goes into the oil pan, and overtorqued the living **** out of a bunch of other stuff. /sigh. Need to order new torque wrench :(
