Marker lenses? The little ones on the side of the bumper? You can get clear ones off of Ebay for like... $15 shipped.

Whoops meant blinkers.... Although the marker lights also have crap on them I need to strip off... Or replace with E-Bay lenses

Get the whole Depo kit or something.

Otherwise, you'll just need to get one of those headlight polishing kits and take it all off like that. Won't be a terrible job. Less than an hour.

Man... I owe you one! Belt didn't feel too loose, but I decided to give the bolt a few cranks before I swapped the alternator. It's now charging at 14.4 at idle and its perfectly quiet! Sent the new alternator back and pocketed that $100 hahaha Thanks!!!

I've been making some great progress!

Ms3x is installed and up/running. Still have some start-up and idle tuning to do... But for the most part it drives and feels great!

Next Big project is getting the 6spd and FM clutch swapped in. This should happen the first weekend of May.

The following weekend I will be installing my FIC 650's and the Walbro 190lph. Then a re-tune.

From there I will be installing the turbo bits in July, as soon as I have a fresh inspection!

Lol thanks guys! Cant wait to get the setup finished!

On another note... Dapper lighting headlights are gone. Decided to just go with some Hella E-Codes. Honestly the wiring was really frustrating me. For one thing a connection kept coming loose, but I was never exactly sure where the connection was going bad. nothing was ever unplugged but the d/s light was constantly going out. It was probably just the crappy ddmtuning HID kit...I also didn't want to have wires all over the place. I feel better about having lights that are direct pnp.

Honestly projectors like that look a bit funny on miatae imo, hella e codes with some good bulbs should be plenty enough light, and they look great to boot!

Yeah I wasn't crazy about the black housing/ projector look either... I think the clear ones might have looked a little better.... But still a little goofy. They were an expensive impulse buy, and I'm just thankful I re-cooped most of the $$ I had into them.

I have read good things about the E-Codes though... Plus I like the fact that that accept H4 bulbs and I can put whatever bulbs in there I want

Glad you decided to switch to the E-codes! Wasn't feeling the black housing either. Kinda reminded me of this

Hahaha

Can't my ecodes be here already!?!?

In other news... 6 speed is in!!!! FM clutch went in with it. Damn this thing shifts smooth.... I got lucky I guess considering all the things I hear about reverse being a pain in the *** and shifting being notchy. Mine is smooth as butter! Used amsoil in it FYI

Now I have my eye on a miataroadster extended shifter for it.... And I just paid off my cc too..... Must... Resist....

E-codes came in!

Also grabbed this m1 bar from a local guy... Probably over paid for a used rollbar ($400) but oh well.. I wanted it... And it was cheaper than a new one lol. I plan to sand it down and re-spray it with a fresh coat of black

$400 seems fair to me! I'm about to swap the same bar into my car, if everything lines up with the current bar that i have.

Yeah I'd say it was a fair price. A friend got the same one for $300 but that was a steal so there's not much comparison there. I should have it installed this weekend or next... Can't wait!
