Agreed, but I have different hardware than what other Wilwood kit have. That is why I wanted to ask 949.

AFAIK TSE is the only one that offers the safety wire and respond.

I called 949. They said they run the same hardware and as long as it is properly torqued, I should be fine. I hosted a track day on Friday, so I just used some loctite and torqued the hardware on each side. They car was fine for the little track time it did see. I wanted to test the limits of the new wheels / new to me but aged rubber on them. I figured having a private track was a good place to find limits and test the behavior of the rubber. Which was good, because I now remember why I have the rubber I do on my track wheels. There was a lot of corner pushing going on with my Work setup. So I guess I will make sure to put on the RE-71R's whenever I am running twisty roads or track days. The Works will remain my drive around the city wheels.

Which is exactly what my cousin told me I would want to do. Interesting how he is always right about car stuff.

Anyways, here are some shots of my car not racing around the track.

It's finally Miata season in Minnesota. I finished up getting the Miata out of storage mode today.

Over the winter my window lost it's ability to stay in place. I have zero idea how or why this happened as I wasn't actually moving my window and the car had no battery in it. It turns out the driver's side regulator had snapped a cable. When pulling the motor and spool out I noticed the cause of the problem. Check out this rat's nest.

New parts from Moss (RIP Rosenthal Miata). I was excited to find a new spool and cap included with the regulator. It only took two attempts to get the spool done right. I realized the first attempt that I needed to remove the cable from the regulator to give me some additional slack.

One of the first jobs I did on this car was to fix the slow power windows. Today i found where part of my window guide went. IT was stuck in a drain hole in the door. Look at this quality guide.

This was an old trick i picked up from my former life as a subie owner. The solo differential setup.

Well did some work on the car this weekend. My project budget is limited this summer, so I expect lots of small projects this summer.

First off, got rid of my old rubber and put some fresh RE71R’s on my Work Nezarts. The old tires were hard but had a ton of tread life on them. I was able to sell them to someone that need some cheap tires. New tires have more meat to them. Thanks to my cousin for helping my keep my wheels out of that hands of the untrained and doing an amazing job.

This weekend I was finally able to do something I have wanted for my Miata for a while. Side skirts we're installed. I used the three mounting points upfront and 3m body tape vs screws for the rest of the install. I used wood and jacks to apply pressure for 24 hours.

Also, because I just like the way they look. Yellow turn signals.

Then went out Sunday on a nice drive through some twisty roads.
