While you guys are mixing and matching parts for the block... https://www.miataturbo.net/build-thr...4/#post1207602
That's the only report I've seen of the threads being different, but its definitely something to check.

I doubt I'll have either car back by then. I'm thinking about having him do the Miata first though. I dunno.
I started ordering parts for the S2k. Both rear control arms are en route. Not going to order anything else til I see it.
I'm sortof out of money though, ha. I need to sell a bunch more cars today and tomorrow to hit my bonus so I can buy more parts

Yeah. I think it's important to remember that your version of rebuild and my version of rebuild are not the same. Your undercoating insanity? Yeah NOPE. Also, I'm not really going to do any of the major work on this Honda. I'll do the airbags and any other interior work if it needs it but that's it.

Jeff you're like the Martha Stewart of miata building - it has to be exactly how you want it.
See, Ed understand the value of subcontracting. Let other people fix the **** they are good at fixing. Sell for profit.
Same reason I had Curly build my engine. He's done it before. I haven't. He's fast. I'm not.

Ha... Well, FWIW I have been waiting for something like this to come along for a while. It wasn't perfect timing in terms of demands on my time but hey, it could have been worse -- at least I had the money since I sold the Fiat.
