If money is not the issue, buy a megasquirt or other ECU that is locally supported and pay someone else to tune it. You have community support LOCALLY. Take advantage of it. Or fail.

Update. She is offically now smoking after a veryyyyy veryyy spirited drive. Not sure what I blew or if the injector is just stuck. Going to run a multi meter to test injectors. But it puffs a little white smoke at high rpms. I dont think its head gasket, pulled spark plugs just a dark, dry black build up. Coolants not low either so blown hg is about out of chances. It back fires after a good shift now and sounds like a backfire in the cat, pulling fpr out after i let it warm up in a few to see if there is residual gas left over...... FML

MS has the ability to test injectors, ignition coils, pumps and all sorts of other goodies. You literally hit a few keys and it tests them.

My car makes a lot more power than yours will, with all the broke and boosted skills in the world. I have a hard time beating a new STI. You won't, so just forget that.

If that car just **** the bed in NA form just from driving what you think is hard, it was doomed to begin with. That rad hot air intake shows your train of thought and fabrication abilities.

You have been told what equipment to buy, where to get it and what order to install it. You have been told to slow down, read a bunch and actually learn something for once on your life. You spent one hour reading about Megasquirt, came out confused and gave up. If you cant get past this, you sure as hell cannot swap in a 1jz, trans., crossmembers, rear end, drive shaft, oh and don't forget a computer to run this piece of ****.
You think your going to impress people with a cobbled together, piece of ****, turbo-type-thing? Nope. Won't happen. If any onlookers could get past the stink of burning fluids, eyeball impaling zip-ties, and gobs of duct tape and hose clamps, they will not walk away impressed. Who gives a **** about some local car club meet, full of retarded teen aged, jobless, lives at home with mom and dad ******.

It took me 17 months of actual work, laborious work, to finish my car. Your 1 month goal is unrealistic. Unless you really are ok with owning a **** box. In that case, why do you want to show off a **** box at a car show?

Back up, slow down, learn, build, succeed.

And you can't read. I said those things about the kids who show up at local car shows. I didn't say anything like that to you.

I went back an read my post again. There is absolutely zero hatred written in it, except for my remarks about car show kids. I simply pointed out your shortcomings and mistakes within your thoughts in regards to a proper turbo. Don't put your lack of knowledge and the inability to accept constructive criticism on me. That's all you.

This site is your best source for truthful, proven and intelligent information about how to turbo a miata. You are burning all of your bridges with your current approach to this project. As I told you 5 pages ago, your neggi-cat collection is a direct indication of the type of person we are dealing with and the type of help you will receive here. Belive me, they have been really really easy on you.

Lick your wounds, learn from past mistakes, and prosper.

You will drive an autocross course faster in NA trim, than you will with turbo. I kind of want to come down and drive your car for you. I guarantee I will be 2-4 seconds faster than you. You might learn a bunch of stuff.
