As far as few things, yes tap the pan for the return and secure it good while its off. Be careful with the oil pickup tube since its close to the standard drill location.
Both blocks pictured are from a 96. The pan was already plumbed with a return line and l now understand what my buddy Paul was talking about with the 96 block being more compatible..

Paul's car is the reason my build is going slow. We have even trying to get his car ready for tx 2k

Engine builder called to confirm

Fab9tuning also says that the 1.6 cams are the same for the 1.8

That is a link for springs, not the cam itself.

Looking above the "recommended products to go with cams"

Engine builder and fab9 both confirmed that the kelford cams work, you just need to specify which engine..

And if I don't go with kelford then I'll go with the same cam specs custom ground that will fit.

Or go with the Robelo 272 cams or the Schick 272 cams..

Don't matter wherr the hell the cams come from its gonna be the same cam profile.

You don't need to read a single website, or call anyone. The 1.8 is physically longer, the bore spacing is different, a 1.6 cam will not fit.

There is no fuking debate!!!!!

WTF, is it 1994?
