Degreasing completed. Some masking done. Etching primer applied to one half.

I'll add another coat today. It's the same color I will paint the exterior. They appropriately call it Daytona blue.

Nice!

I always wondered how difficult it is to mask and paint roll bars, and reach areas light seldom sees. That's a really nice color.

Another coat. It started thunderstorming while I was painting. I hope it doesn't cause problems with the paint.














I'll have a Reef Donkey and go back out and check it in a while.

Fancy *** flywheel, V8R framerails come with kit for the BMW swap. Using stock 530i pressure plate and clutch.

Gonna sell off the other stainless frame rails I took off the car. Strong as hell and great for reducing body flex. The stainless is stronger than the powder coated ones I just put on.

Transmission bolted in. Clutch master installed. Getting the old clutch master pedal e-clip off with the rollcage just to the left of the clutch was tough. Couldn't see and had limited space. And I was laying on my back on the floor.
