I have a modified magnetic CAS. I cut all the teeth inside but one. I'll post an MSQ later.
Buy me an airplane ticket and I'll wire your call all night long, baby.
Yeah with VVT + 36-1T wheel your only 2 options right now are to grind the 2 teeth off the intake cam or convince the megasquirt guys to write custom decoder for it. The CAM singnal *must* come from the VVT cam.
I thought I could write the decoder part myself, but the source code is so god awful that I'd rather not.

Where do I got digging to find out more about this - I heard somewhere else it's 36-2 from FM that works and now I'm all confused. :-)

6 speed past 400 is just as risky as 5 speed past 250.
People try to act cool and post up that they want 450+ but when someone actually gets there, like soviet, they quickly realize why there's a billion sub300 miata's and only a few dozen with more
but boy oh boy did that speedo/tach sweep vid give me a chubby. hnggg

Occasionally driving the car and tuning a little bit more. It runs good although right now I'm just on wastegate boost (which is still good for like 350whp)
Finally happy with the idle and fan control

I love your coolant reroute for the heater core. Mind clueing me in on what lines those are?
Sounds really really solid. Are you using the Small Pulsewidth Injector data from ID or are you only using the standard deadtime table? I think using the Small pulsewidth table is causing me some issues with my ID's and full boost.
350 is insanity for just wastegate.

I didn't know ID had data for megasquirt. Interesting...
I have no idea what my injector setting are, tbh.
For heater core, I welded an AN bung to the water neck (the one on the pump) and flipped it 180*.

State of the car last night:
I also wasn't happy with the mixing manifold. I had it flipped 180* and heatercore return pipe chopped off real short. However, I hated the o-ring on that pipe. So I got an -10AN fitting welded on. Got it done at Mach V in Sterling - same place I got all my welding done. Can't praise these guys enough. This is a very tight spot and I wasn't sure if the welder would be able to do it. No problem, apparently. Cost me $45.

That is not a bad idea.... That o-ring cost me a motor once.
Yeah - ID has numbers, I was the one who got them to do it, and I don't think they are QUITE right. A couple caveats: if you don't have a manifold referenced regulator, MS doesn't deal with it correctly (unless you have the latest firmware AND tell it to) - I just switched and it's better.

This is all a work in progress, but I have ID's numbers as well as my own (all based on ID data).
Small Pulse Widths shouldn't effect boost at all, it only comes into play with sub 2ms PW.
On there you should find everything you need to get voltage and flow rate compensation set up. I'll try to clean it up more when it's done. If you don't have references regulator, check it out near the bottom of fuel settings menu.

Off the top of my head 40-50s % AFR is fine until I hit that and when I lift throttle it goes full rich after I lift. Not during. Afrs are fine while in boost. Boost doesn't oscillate either but I do get a lot of tpsdot oscillation. Logs are a bit mystifying. I need to get a solid log of it. I did just increase fuel rail pressure to 58 (I Hector dead times changed to reflect it too. I'm slowly putting it together just irritating to not have a clear reason as to why.
Sorry to thread jack Soviet.
