You know that power is not heat, heat is the "left over" of used power.
If power is heat then high power engine would have much higher egt which it does not.

Your thinking is flawed. The EGTs may not be higher, but that could be due to a number of other variables; none of which matter because THERE IS MORE OF IT!

That is, there is a larger volume of exhaust gases. And a larger volume of something at the same temp has more heat energy.
