Getting the full 120min out of a stint is great. We've been able to stretch some really good mileage out of Miata's 10gal tank. The only time its failed us was due to a refueling error, so always make sure you refueler knows all the tricks to get all the gas out of the can into the car.
When I filled the tank at the start of the weekend I just filled it up at the gas pump like normal, I did no "topping off". That combined with runnin ~125 minutes makes me pretty confident we should be able to run 115-120 at most if not all tracks.

Wow that's impressive fuel economy. At Miatas at MRLS I used two full tanks in 5 sessions
Your milage may vary. At Atlanta Motorsports Park I could go all day on one tank of fuel (5 - 20 min sessions). At Road Atlanta I had to fill up the car twice a day because of the long back straight away. Oh yeah, and no turbo.

Yup I used two full tanks at MRLS and almost two full tanks (in 4 sessions) at PIR.
My car is thirsty. Well, when it's not totaled anyway.

Pics a week late...
Better late than never I suppose.
All dressed up for her first dance:

How it looked at the track with the air dam on. Did not run with the splitter or a rear spoiler.

Many safety items have been ordered to get 100% legal to ChumpCar rules. Fire system, new Schroth 6-pt harness, SFI rated roll-bar padding, battery cut off switch, etc.
Work on the car has been slow but it needs to start picking up...only 36 or 37 days left till it needs to be on a trailer ready for a 12-hour race.

Beef Ribs sound amazing.
Oh hey... You should come down and hang! And driving your Prelude could be dangerous...I have a good collection of spares but you never know when you might need to "borrow" something from a street car.

Bought a trailer yesterday:

2003 28' Pace Shadow w/ AC+Heat, 5000W generator, exterior working lights, cabinets, winch, etc. Only thing it doesn't have that I wanted was a retractable awning. ~10,000 lbs GVWR.
Needs a cleaning and some touch-up paint, but it's been well maintained and the price was pretty good.
ChumpCar Towing Set-up finalized

My total investment in this set-up is less than half of what most people spend on a used 3/4 ton diesel truck...
Lots of work has been done to the car too...no time to take pictures and post though. Fire extinguisher system installed this weekend along with some tow straps. Last week I got the seat slider installed and steering wheel, NRG QR hub and Sparco adapter also installed.
I'm working on getting the safety and series "required" stuff done first, and then I'll start working on the performance UP items.
~20 days until the first race...crunch time some might call it.

Also...this:

Racing right now. Currently 26th out of 62. Car is not fast enough on a straight line. We sacrificed strategy to get everyone cycled through the car early in the race so everyone got an opportunity...that cost us a good number of laps.
Seefo gets in the car in about an hour. Lars' beef ribs will be done about 1.5 hours.
Hoping to finish in the top 20...we'll see.
Go pro mount broke so no video unfortunately. My wife didn't bring her camera so not many pics either...too busy racin!

Here's Shuiend and his meat...

Here's some of the crew REALLY enjoying Shuiend's meat

We ended up finishing 22nd out of 62 cars. We had lots of opportunities to do better, but we definitely would have been top 20 had Seefo not been hit by a certain stupid Acura during his last stint.
The contact broke one of the wheels:

The sucky part is that's a 1st Gen 6UL with ET40 offset. Good luck finding a spare to replace it...
My goal for the first race was to get the car legal to the rules, safe and reliable (minus drinking lots of oil). That was pretty much accomplished.
Now to make the car faster. We had the 40th fastest lap time out of 62 cars...that's not going to cut it.
